Are you ready to take part in Aalto Ventures Program’s latest international offering? It’s an exciting one – for the first time, we’ll be sending up to four students to take part in UC Berkeley’s Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship (BMoE) bootcamp.

This one-week venture workshop takes place on January 8-12, 2018 at UC Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship. It acts as an immersive learning experience for new venture creation: during the program, participants will take part in sessions that combine lectures and interactive game-based exercises, receive one-on-one mentoring from Sutardja Center faculty and industry experts; and learn in a collaborative environment. Tying this all together, participants will work on teams to plan and work on developing a new venture or project.

Flights and accommodations are covered.

If you choose to take part in the BMoE bootcamp, you can expect to:

  • Work on idea generation and learn how to turn ideas into new ventures while integrating concepts such as customer-focused design thinking. Receive feedback and input from real-life entrepreneurs, investors, and marketing specialists.
  • Pitch your idea to an experienced panel of experts and potential investors. Collaborate with experts to advance your idea to the next level.
  • Use case studies to facilitate and perfect ideas, take part in learning about ideation, sales, pitching, and funding
  • Establish or optimize startup teams, learn mechanics of a startup and setting major milestones

Sounds good, right?

How to apply: let us know a bit about yourself and why you’re interested by filling out this form by October 28th (23:59). Looking forward to your applications!
