Last Sunday we came back to Finland from France. Our three weeks journey in European Innovation Academy came to an end. During these three weeks, we learned more than we could imagine.

Each day we had three lectures and after those we worked with our teams and mentors on our startup projects. On the first week we innovated and pivoted our ideas, then on second week we builded up our marketing strategy and pivoted a bit more again. Then on the last week we discussed about foundarising and in the end about pitching. Friday was the exciting main event of the course: Pitch the ideas to the real investors.

The days were quite long and full of things to do, but we also had some freetime to enjoy the life in Riviera. We spent lot of time with our new friends and get so much unforgettable memories while travelling nearby the Nice, swimming in the mediterranian sea, watching European Football Championships and not to forget all the little moments we experienced.

The terrorist attack in Nice had its own impact on the course. It brought a lot of sorrow and longing, it changed the program, but it also made us, the EIA family, closer. Participants from all over the world were supporting each other. After the attack it was hard to come to the venue, but we knew, we have to be stronger and not to be afraid. Together we managed to do it.

The course can be recommended to everyone by our Finnish Team. We think the learned skills and contacts will be very useful in our lives, starting from now on, as some of us have plans to continue work here in Finland on the EIA projects.
