Businesses today have a greater impact than ever on our world. Yet we still measure success mainly with financial indicators, which only describe a small part of the whole big and complicated truth.
The Upright Project wants to tackle this issue and clarify the jungle of current impact discourse by showcasing the net impact of a company in an understandable form. Basically, they are looking at companies’ impact on the environment, on knowledge, on society and on the health of its employees. Their goal is to offer this information not only to the companies themselves but to investors, consumers, and governments too.
During her talk, Annu will tell more about The Upright Project and discuss what net impact actually means and how it can be measured. Watch to learn about the new era of value creation!

We are good at measuring performance, but not impact. This results in us excelling at incrementally tweaking the how – but not determining the what.Annu Nieminen — Founder of the Upright Project
