Dear Aalto Ventures Program community,
Aalto Ventures Program is canceling all events until May 31st according to Aalto University’s instructions regarding the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). Our events are publicly open, including external speakers and participants, so we have decided that it is better to take these precautionary actions for public health.
Thus, the Thought Leader’s Talk by Kristian Ranta on the 18th of March and all other planned events for this spring are canceled for the time being.
For AVP courses the situation varies depending on the course and teachers will be communicating with students directly. We are monitoring and assessing the situation carefully and preparing for necessary updates.
AVP staff will be working remotely from home as much as possible, however, you are welcome to reach us via social media and email for any questions and inquiries. We are running our operations as usual otherwise.
If you want to boost up your entrepreneurial capabilities even if our events have been canceled, signup for the free online course on entrepreneurship ‘Starting Up‘ or look up previous Thought Leader’s Talks from our YouTube channel. And for those who are working remotely, here is a great write-up by Mårten Mikos on how to facilitate working from home.
Meanwhile, the AVP team is already preparing autumn activities. More exciting events, courses, and activities are coming soon. Stay tuned!
