AVP has found a new teacher to join the team, Elina Kähkönen!
Elina is a new part-time teacher at Aalto Ventures Program. She has an extensive background in education and has led the Aaltonaut program since 2013. She is passionate about making Aalto more interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial both for the students and the faculty – just as we are!
At AVP, Elina will further develop our integration offering at Aalto, focusing especially on CHEM. She will also double down on bringing sustainability more into the core of our education activities through different teaching tools and methods.
Elina is an Aalto alumna, holding a doctoral degree in chemistry. Prior to returning here as a teacher, she has worked as an environmental consultant and also worked in sales and product development in the chemical industry.
During her free time Elina swims actively throughout the year, in fact during the summer there were only a few days that she didn’t swim at all! In addition, Elina likes to read loads of books and move either by bike or running.
