Anton Schubert joins the AVP team as a teacher, bringing with him extensive industry experience and a deep understanding of sustainability. He will both co-teach some of our existing courses and use his long experience to help create something completely new.
Before joining the team, Anton earned his spurs in design consulting, focusing heavily on design for sustainability. He has worked with many global companies, supporting them with brand strategy, innovation, user-centered product and service development and cultural transformation.
Anton has founded both the Planet Centric Design toolkit and The Good Growth methodology, in order to help companies leverage the sustainability business opportunity and also to coach other designers and students on how to design for sustainability. Creating a positive change and making an impact are also the reasons Anton has now decided to join AVP as a teacher. He sees the university as the perfect place to inspire the next generation of business leaders to think planet first. He is most inspired when working with people who have high ambition and are willing to take risks. He sees that this is true for both AVP’s students and staff, which makes him feel right at home.
Outside of work, Anton spends a lot of his time at his family summer cottage — or mökki, as he calls it. There, he enjoys spending time in nature and connecting to his deep passion for restoring and selling old Japanese vintage motorcycles.
I’ve always been interested in teaching, and now was the right time. I want to change how people look at doing business, and can’t think of a better place to make an impact than Aalto.
We are happy to have you, Anton! For more information about Anton, check out his LinkedIn. Feel free to get in touch with him!
