Jenni Vartiainen
Researcher at the University of Helsinki and a founder of Kide Science
Ph.D. Jenni Vartiainen is a researcher at the University of Helsinki and a founder of Kide Science. Jenni studies young children’s playful science education. Kide Science was established as a result of Jenni’s research to make a social impact. Kide Science promotes play-based early childhood STEAM education all over the world by offering kindergarten and preschool teachers engaging lesson plans and training.
Veera Virintie
CEO of Silta Education
Veera, CEO of Silta Education, is M.A. (2014) and MSc in Education (2022) from the University of Helsinki, focusing on brain research and social-emotional learning. Veera is an expert on the future of learning, learning design and how wellbeing affects our brain. Her mission at Silta Education is to build the bridge between science and practice to strengthen wellbeing, learning and stress management. Silta Education is Veera's third company.
Jesper Ryynänen
Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of GraphoGame
Jesper Ryynänen is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of GraphoGame, an education technology company from Finland. GraphoGame is a suite of evidence-based literacy apps for 5- to 9-year-olds. A social entrepreneur and MSc of Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics, Jesper is focused on democratising access to world class early literacy education by distributing free-to-download gamified literacy apps on behalf of governments, foundations, and corporate social responsibility programs. GraphoGame’s many language versions have been downloaded over 3 million times and have 100,000s of daily users.
